Kenche Mallikarjuna supplies designer silk sarees by the set to saree shops and resellers, from Rayadurg in Andhra Pradesh to towns across India. Most are woven on power looms, some on handlooms.
In the saree trade for 100+ years, since the time of Kenche Ramesh's grandparents. Today the house is run by Kenche Ramesh, who answers every enquiry personally.
What we make
Designer silk sarees
Jacquard bodies, checks and buttas, temple and paisley borders, and heavy zari pallus, in dozens of colours for every design.
Power loom and handloom
Most sarees are woven on power looms, where the jacquard keeps every zari motif exact from the first saree in a set to the last. Some are woven on handlooms.
Custom weaves
Sarees can also be woven to order in your colours, border and motif. The quantity, price and timing are agreed on WhatsApp before weaving starts.
Who we supply
Saree shops, boutiques and resellers across India. Sarees are packed in boxed sets of 28, one set is the minimum order, and the parcel is dispatched to your town. Ask for the catalogue to see the collections and the colour story before you order.
